No. Every strength is sold at the same price, so titrating up never costs more. Dose is a clinical decision, not a pricing tier.

No. Halwel is cash-pay by design, so there are no prior authorizations to wait on and nothing to be denied. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

Yes. You can do either in the portal whenever you want, and you'll never have to call anyone. A pause keeps your dose history, so picking back up is easy.

Speed & process

Intake takes ~5 minutes, a licensed provider typically reviews within 24 hours, and medication ships cold-chain in 3–5 days.

Usually not. Most states let a provider review your intake without a visit. If your state or your clinician requires one, it's scheduled in the portal at no extra cost.

A licensed provider reviews your intake and decides whether treatment is appropriate for you. If it isn't, you won't be prescribed, you're refunded in full, and your clinician will explain why and what alternatives may fit.

A short check-in before each refill tells your clinician how you're responding; they adjust the dose and the refill ships automatically.

Treatment & safety

The most common are nausea, constipation, and reflux while your dose is increasing. For most people they are mild and pass. Your clinician paces your dose and is a message away.

Your medication is prepared by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy to your prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, efficacy, or quality.

A licensed provider makes that decision, based solely on your intake. In general, treatment fits adults with a qualifying BMI or a weight-related condition and no contraindications.
